Position Statement:
The Business Development Manager will lead the B2B relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors working in a fast past growth skincare company with a big pipeline in B2B sales.
Position Summary:
- Help define the B2B strategy for Retail & Professional
- Drive new business
- Manage third-party agencies
- Manage marketplace relationships and liaise with marketing on promotional opportunities
- Manage all customer accounts
- Attend business networking events looking for new opportunities
- Own and manage the customer price lists
- Work closely with marketing on trade events, creative and content
- Partner with marketing and supply chain on NPDs and customer insights
- Implement CRM Database management – contacts and opportunities
- Identify opportunities to improve our products, services, processes, systems, and tools
- Organisation and general upkeep of all new business documentation
- Support the team with new business reporting, which is fed to senior management and helps inform wider business decisions
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- +5 years working in beauty and skincare global retail
- Excellent communications and presentation skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Results-driven focus with analytical capability
- Proven track record of driving growth
- Good understanding of the global retail and professional landscape
- Ability to innovate and simplify current processes and practices
- Strong direct sales skills and a proven track record of performance
- Experience working with clients
- High affinity towards data and technology with the ability to dive deep and analyze opportunities and processes
- Fluent in written and verbal communication in English
- Proficient writing and verbal communication in a second European language
Preferred Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or will receive a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
