Position Statement:

The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Commercial Director and Founder in developing the brand and marketing strategy ensuring that there is a holistic approach across all channels aligned to the brand values.


Position Summary:

  • Define brand positioning and implementation with marketing executive
  • Build marketing plan for and budget allocation
  • Evaluate and measure performance
  • Define and manage social, paid, SEO, influencer, affiliates, PR, content, creative and CRM strategy
  • Define and manage marketing partnerships and collaborations for the brand
  • Manage marketing promo calendar
  • Lead NPD for the brand from research to implementation working closely with Sales & Supply Chain
  • Define marketing strategy, products, services, and target audience to determine requirements.
  • Review design, price, packaging, and promotion and identify required changes needed
  • Consult on advertising briefs and progress of campaigns liaising directly with the agencies
  • Define & consult on creative strategy via marketing channels e.g., Digital, PR, CRM, & Social
  • Consult on creative, design, tech, and analytics to determine new digital marketing solutions
  • Lead marketing research for defined strategies
  • Help define marketing plan for the year



Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Marketing or other relevant fields

  • 5+ years of experience in a strategic leadership marketing role
  • Demonstrate strong affinity for the make-up and skincare category and sensitivity for the uniqueness of the brand in the creation of all plans, ensuring that all activity builds brand equity and remains true to our DNA
  • Self-starter who thinks outside the box
  • Early adoptor of Tik Tok
  • Experience in both corporate and start-up
  • Skincare experience working with both B2C & B2B
  • Proven success building and managing teams across various marketing channels
  • Demonstrated success developing brand strategies, launching new products and businesses, and driving adoption across various consumer touchpoints
  • Demonstrated success in building out digital marketing / CRM ecosystems, including data flow strategy, analytics, event tracking and reporting
  • Thorough understanding of multiple marketing channels and experience successfully managing multiple work streams concurrently
  • Analytical, with a solid understanding of when to enlist tactics to meet different KPIs; from brand awareness to customer acquisition, to driving sales for retail partners. Data-lead, ensuring all marketing is highly measurable and contributes towards our B2B and B2C KPIs.
  • Proven track record of building a marketing function to achieve commercial scale
  • Hands on experience using tools to improve user optimization and conversion preferably
